Bo Pelini leaves Nebraska game in ambulance

Matt Schick reports ESPN cam saw Nebraska team doctor checking Bo Pelini's pulse on the sideline. Had to sit down earlier.

ESPN2 reports that Bo Pelini has left the stadium in an ambulance. Nebraska is currently up 28-10 on Arkansas State.

Sean_Callahan says on Twitter: Apparent flu like symptoms. He was getting his heart rate checked in the 2nd quarter. Stressful week here in Lincoln.

DC John Papuchis acting as head coach right now. Pelini is 44 years old.

He did not come out for the second half in their game against Arkansas State.

Pelini's return to the game: doubtful. Injury: undisclosed (flu-like symptoms rumored).

Pelini has an unknown illness. 

According to Lincoln Police, his name cannot be released because of privacy issues. ESPN2 is sending their sideline reporter, Lewis Johnson to the hospital to check his condition. The announcers are treating this like this is the only story in the game right now.
