CofC to have special meeting on going to CAA

The College of Charleston is getting ready to move to the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) from the SoCon.

Andrew Miller of the Post and Courier in Charleston reported: CofC Board of Trustees to hold special meeting Friday to discuss conference alignment. .

CofC would fill a spot left by Virginia Commonwealth. There are rumblings also that East Carolina, for its non-football sports, is going to the CAA.

The meeting started minutes ago at Randolph Hall. They got a contract from the CAA and are making their decision today.
