Right now at Clemson University, per several of my friends, Hendrix Hall has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.
This one on February 4 is the second time in less than a week that the building has been evacuated.
This blog will discuss several different topics: an overview of sporting events I've been to and breaking sports stories, and Charleston sporting events.

East Tennessee State to re-add football
Per a vote by the East Tennessee State University Student Government Association, the university will re-add a football team.
The president of the university, Brian Noland, approves of it. Per the @BringBackBucFB Twitter feed, the school would hire a coach in May this year, play a JV schedule in 2014, and in 2015 would start a full schedule.
ETSU was kicked out of the Southern Conference after earlier dropping its football team.

The Citadel cashes in on halftime heave
I was at the Elon-The Citadel game this afternoon, and Marshall Harris, a guard for The Citadel, made about a 55 or 60 footer at halftime to cut the Bulldogs deficit to five. The Citadel lost 70-66, but this was one of the longest shots of the year so far. Have a look and watch from The Citadel's YouTube.

If the Big South tournament started today
I feel that the Big South is getting undercovered so far. They play very exciting basketball, and the teams in there can play.
Wednesday night was an interesting night, with all the home teams winning. Charleston Southern defeating UNC-Asheville on Wednesday night. Gardner-Webb won on a buzzer beater last night against Coastal Carolina. That made the top 10 on SportsCenter, briefly as the #1 play. Winthrop beat Presbyterian, and Radford beat Longwood, while VMI beat Campbell. High Point beat Liberty.
Here are the brackets if the season ended today. The conference tournament is in Conway this year at Coastal Carolina's new arena, the HTC Center. I will update these frequently. I will also do this for the SoCon.

Clemson president to have triple-bypass tomorrow
Clemson University President James Barker is having a triple-bypass heart surgery tomorrow. He e-mailed the Clemson students first to tell them about his surgery less than an hour ago (around 5pm or so).
Prayers to him and his family.
Here is the e-mail to the students and professors:
Dear Clemson,
During a medical check-up this week, I became aware of a situation that will require immediate attention. Tomorrow morning, I will have triple bypass surgery at Greenville Memorial Hospital in order to treat blockages that were discovered during a heart catheterization today. This will require a hospital stay of five to seven days with visitation limited to family, and I anticipate a medical leave for recovery. I am delegating the responsibilities of office to Provost Dori Helms until the Board of Trustees can convene tomorrow and take any appropriate further actions.
I have every confidence of a complete recovery for several reasons. First, I am being treated by Clemson doctors and nurses. Second, I am in good health overall. Third, I have full confidence in the administrative team at Clemson to keep projects and priorities moving forward without a hitch. The Board of Trustees has been notified and has pledged their full support as well.
Be assured that I will keep you informed as I learn more from my doctors.
Sincerely,
--Jim Barker
Prayers to him and his family.

Per @sam_amick of USA Today Sports: The Milwaukee Bucks and coach Scott Skiles have agreed to part ways immediately, USA Today Sports has learned. Story to come.
The Bucks are 16-16, in 8th in the Eastern Conference, and are on a 4 game losing streak.
Milwaukee has made assistant Jim Boylan its interim coach, league source tells Yahoo! Sports (Adrian Wojnarowski).
Per Amick: Skiles has been the coach of the Bucks since the 2008-09 season, compiling a record of 162-182, with one playoff appearance. Overall, Skiles has a record of 443-433 in 13 seasons.
