Lowcountry tennis star Shelby Rogers had the biggest win of her tennis career tonight in Montreal, a second-round victory in the Rogers Cup in Montreal, over Canadian star Eugenie Bouchard, who made the Wimbeldon finals this year. The final was 6-0, 2-6, 6-0. Bouchard was playing in her hometown.
Shelby Rogers has grown as a player over the past few months, highlighted by a finals appearance in Bad Gastein, where she defeated Carla Suarez Navarro, Camila Giorgi and Sara Errani in straight sets before falling to Andrea Petkovic.
