The College of Charleston is doing a resolution to look at conference affiliation. They are voting right now to move to the CAA. Sounds like a done deal to move. Vote now. Athletics committee meeting. Reviewing materials. 7-months for decision.
Vote begins now. Doing roll call now. Everyone on roll call is saying the motion be made. Motion passes.
Making decision now. unanimous. CofC will join Colonial Athletic Association in 2013-14.

CofC to have special meeting on going to CAA
The College of Charleston is getting ready to move to the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) from the SoCon.
Andrew Miller of the Post and Courier in Charleston reported: CofC Board of Trustees to hold special meeting Friday to discuss conference alignment.#caaherewecome.
CofC would fill a spot left by Virginia Commonwealth. There are rumblings also that East Carolina, for its non-football sports, is going to the CAA.
The meeting started minutes ago at Randolph Hall. They got a contract from the CAA and are making their decision today.

Les Miles going to Arkansas?
The Tolbert Report, an Arkansas based blog, says Times-Picayune reporter @JimKleinpeter is saying that the offer from Arkansas to Les Miles is "reportedly for five years and $27.5 million."
@sportsbybrooks was first to report this earlier Tuesday afternoon: Exclusive: SbB has learned Arkansas is engaged w/ reps of the interests of Les Miles & a $5-yr $27.5M offer is on the table. ESPN reported this scoop hours after SbB had it.

Tom O'Brien fired
NC State football coach Tom O'Brien will not return for his seventh season, according to AD Debbie Yow. He finished the regular season 7-5 this year.

Johnny Manziel hurt
Johnny Manziel is hurt, grabbing his left knee in the Texas A&M and Missouri game.
He is back up. Walked off field. Trainers were talking to him on the sideline but not looking at his knee. Getting a knee brace from locker room.
